Let’s Talk Ministry Teams

We love to say “we are all on the same team” but, how often do we find in ministry that we are not actually acting and making decisions as if we are on the same team.

Here are a few questions we need to ask ourselves -

  • Am I a team player?

  • Do I make decisions for the ministry I lead to compliment and work alongside the other ministry teams?

  • Do I encourage, support, and cheer on the other ministry teams and leaders?

  • Do I live out the mission and vision of my church?

  • Do I let others get a victory?

  • Do I make room for others with new opinions and ideas to speak into the ministries I lead?

  • Am I  grace-FULL?

Serving and working in ministry is such a blessing. It can also be very hard and unrewarding when we are not working together as a unified team.

Here are some tips to be a unified team-

  • Pray together.

  • Pray for each other.

  • Worship together.

  • Get in the Word together.

  • Ask each other how you can support and help them.

  • Find ways your teams can work together to further the mission of your church.

  • Be a team player. Ministries grow and make more of an impact when leaders work together and support one another.

  • Celebrate another ministry's victories!

  • Communicate!

  • Give each other grace.

  • Remember… Jesus and His love is why we do what we do!

1 Corinthians 12:20-25- Talks about the body of Christ working together as one unit and how each part needs another part.

How much better would our teams be if we remembered and lived out these verses?

We would love to help your leadership team be more unified. Schedule your leadership team coaching session by emailing us at teelcoachingandconsulting@gmail.com
